The entertainment industry in Singapore is a fast booming one. There have been many great Singaporean films. Some time back, a few friends and I met up to challenge ourselves in a genre we believed would push boundaries and be entertaining. We decided to venture into the world of action film making. Brainstorming sessions evolved into serious story-boarding, ridiculous moves became innovative fight sequences, and friendships turned into brotherhood. The release of "The Rule Breakers" was a successful one that exceeded our expectations both in reception and reviews. This was from our peers, supporters and fellow artists we admire, we were, and are still very grateful for that support.
Hungry for more, it was back to the drawing board where we created more elaborated sequences and involved an extended cast. We managed to find like minded individuals who brought new layers of creativity and colour to our film. This film we created, not for profit but to share on YouTube. To challenge ourselves and showcase our work, but most importantly to inspire and to entertain. Without your support, we would be a bunch of young men inflicting pain on each other while one watches though the lens of a DSLR. This is creepy, voyeuristic and should be reported to the authorities. Thankfully with your help, this is not the case.
"The Rule Breakers 2" will be out on the 28th of July. Please help us spread the word, share the trailer on every single one of your facebook friends' walls, force your loved ones to watch it, or simply "accidentally" leave it running on a thin-light-powerful MacBook Air at an Apple store.
